I can't sign in

Check that you're online and use the same method as before (Apple, Google, or email). Email codes can take a minute; look in your spam folder too. If you used “Hide My Email” with Apple, your account is linked to Apple's relay address, so sign in with Apple again.

How do I delete my account?

Settings > Delete account. Your sessions, journal, garden, koban, and everything else linked to your account are deleted for good. If you subscribe to Maneki Plus, cancel it in iOS Settings too, because Apple handles the billing.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes: Settings > Your data > Export your data.

I bought something but don't see it

Go to Settings > Restore purchases while signed in to the same Maneki account. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the date of the purchase; never send card details.

How do I cancel Maneki Plus?

In the app: Settings > Manage subscription. Or in iOS: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Maneki. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewal. You keep Plus until the end of the paid period.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What stays free?

Focus and meditation sessions, the garden, rooms, streaks, the journal, and basic statistics are free for everyone. Plus adds extras such as more cats, sounds, a theme, year views, and bonus koban. Omikuji fortunes can't be bought.

Why did my cat crack?

With Deep Focus on, leaving Maneki for more than about 20 seconds during a session cracks the cat. Locking your iPhone doesn't. You can repair a cracked cat with kintsugi, and your first repair is free. Turn off Deep Focus in Settings if you prefer.

Can I keep Maneki's sound playing with the screen locked?

Yes. Sounds and meditation bells keep playing in the background during a session.

Rooms and friends

How do I join a friend's room?

Open Together > Join and type the room code, or tap an invite link and confirm. Everyone in a room shares the same timer.

Someone is being unkind

Touch and hold their name or note, then choose Report or Block. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Blocked people don't learn that you blocked them. You can also email us.
